Health Services

Immunizations, Free Blood Pressures, Laboratory Draws with a Physician's Order (everyday 8-11)using LabCorp Services, Lead Screenings, Free Health Education, TB Testing (not on Thursday), Communicable Disease/Outbreak Investigations, DNA (by appointment), STI, Pregnancy Testing (by appointment)and Temporary Medicaid.

No appointment necessary for the above services except as noted. Walk-in 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m Monday thru Thursday and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00.

Lab Tests

We now offer diagnostic testing and preventative screenings with a Doctor's order. All lab draws are sent to LabCorp and results are sent to your Dr. the next morning. We offer hundreds of tests at minimal fees in order to save time and money. We also offer drug testing at your company site or in our office at a minimal fee. Please contact our Nursing Staff for more information. Lab draws are done M-F 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m..

Pregnancy Testing

Pregnancy testing is available by appointment.

Contact us at 417-223-4351 for scheduling. We offer Temporary Medicaid, at the time of testing to those who qualify. Clients should wait 7-8 weeks from last menstrual period before scheduling an appointment.

Prental Case Managment may be offered with Medicaid enrollment. Nurses are available for questions and concerns from expecting Mothers. Ask us about this program.

Family Planning Services

Family Planning Services are offered at the Health Department 2 days per month. Call 417-223-4351 for appointment.

Services include but are not limited to: Well-Women Exams, Gynecological Exams, Cervical and Breast Cancer Screening, and Birth Control Methods.

All services are based on a sliding fee scale and may change depending on funding sources.

Private DNA Testing

LabCorp allows us to offer private DNA testing in our office. Labratory services requires Child, Mother and alleged Father to submit samples the same day. This service does require an appointment and has a fee. Please call us for an appointment and pricing 417-223-4351

Blood Pressures

Free blood pressures are offered on a walk-in basis to everyone. If you need to monitor blood pressure for your doctor or just want to have a blood pressure check, feel free to stop in and see one of our nurses. We also offer blood pressure management.


Lead Screenings

Lead screenings are available. We have the capability to bill your MoHealthNet or Private Insurance provider. A charge $20 is applied for self pay clients.



TB testing available $15 for residents $20 for non-residents

Tuberculosis Information

STI Testing

Sexually Trasmitted Infection testing is offered free of charge to McDonald County Residents.

Walk-ins are welcome Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Tests through Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services include Chlymadia, Gonnorhea, Syphillis, and HIV. Treatment for positive results will be given free of charge.

We have the capability to test for other sexually transmitted diseases through LabCorp, these tests require a physician's order. Please call for more information.
